Regional One Health has partnered with Covalus and Allworld Project Management to lead the planning of its new $1.3 billion academic medical center in Memphis. This joint venture combines Covalus’ expertise in major healthcare projects with Allworld’s local insights, forming a powerful team to guide the project’s planning, budgeting, and campus development. Together, they will ensure that Regional One Health’s vision for a world-class center of patient care, research, and education comes to life.
Campus Planning
The existing Regional One Health campus presents significant physical challenges, from outdated mechanical systems to non-compliance with modern seismic standards. This new facility will be designed to meet the needs of 21st-century medicine, providing state-of-the-art care and research spaces.
Phase One
Phase One would lay a foundation for a comprehensive campus renewal with crucial infrastructure improvements such as installing infill to meet current seismic guidelines, creating a modern and reliable utility lifeline, and upgrading parking. The proposed plan would also include our first new medical building to house labor and delivery, inpatient oncology, and NICU services, as well as a green corridor park space to promote campus-wide integration.
